This 2.5 hrs virtual refresher workshop will be delivered via Microsoft Teams and is aimed at staff who work with adults with care and support needs, who need to know the basics of safeguarding, legal responsibilities and good practice. It is designed to update knowledge and skills of staff who have already completed the Safeguarding Basic Awareness E-learning course in line with the Care Act 2014 and the Sussex Multi Agency Policy and Procedures.

The link to join the training will be sent one week before the day of the event.

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT ALL STAFF ATTEND FACE TO FACE TRAINING WHEN IT IS AVAILABLE.
Please look out for an email to complete the session evaluation. We would appreciate your time in completing this so we can evaluate this temporary process. You will then be able to access your certificate via the learning portal.
