Course description

If you are a lone worker you may find it useful to have this accreditation in order to deal with First Aid situations that may arise when you are in someone’s home or accompanying clients in public places.

Note: * All Delegates need to physically attend the course in a classroom setting at the venue. This is NOT delivered as an online distance learning course.

The Health and Safety (First-Aid) Regulations 1981 require employers to provide adequate and appropriate equipment, facilities and personnel to enable first-aid to be given to employees if they are injured or become ill at work. These regulations apply to all workplaces including those with five or fewer employees and to the self-employed.

Note: This course requires a demonstration of competency in administering CPR, which involves kneeling on the floor beside an anatomical dummy. If you are unable to work on the floor to perform CPR you will not be permitted to undertake this course.

IMPORTANT: Due to Covid19 restrictions, delegates must bring hand sanitiser and wear a face covering at all times when in communal areas of the venue; and if requested by the Trainer. No delegate should attend if they are showing signs or symptoms of Covid19, or have been in close contact with a Covid19 patient within 14 days.

This course will be reviewed in light of any change in current lockdown arrangements and delegates will be contacted as necessary.
