This training will identify key learning from Domestic Homicide Reviews.


It is aimed at Managers and Designated Safeguarding Leads in any agency across Sussex, however interested front line practitioners are also welcome.


There will be multiple speakers at this event and delegates must attend the full 3 hours to complete this training. 


 

Training objectives
Learning outcomes

Understand key lessons from local Domestic Homicide Reviews


Develop greater depth and understanding of domestic abuse related suicides and unexplained deaths


Become familiar with both unsafe practice, missed opportunities and good practice in protecting victims and children exposed to domestic abuse


Be more confident in supporting victims and children experiencing domestic abuse


Understand how to respond effectively to high risk cases of domestic abuse and understanding 8 stages of homicide.
