This course will cover


• What is coaching, distinctions and comparisons to other interventions
• When and how coaching can be used to lead and develop people and teams
• Coaching skills, models and techniques
• Coaching practice activities
• Coaching for key management areas – performance, conflict, career development
• Coaching in Teams


This course will be remotely delivered via MS Teams, over 2 x half Day sessions. 

Training objectives
Learning outcomes

  • To define coaching and other similar management approaches to leading individuals and teams

  • To examine when, where and how a coaching style of leadership would be beneficial and identify own management/leadership style in relation to coaching

  • To develop coaching skills and understand coaching models and techniques to use in individual, groups/team coaching situations

  • To gain confidence, through practice, to use coaching skills and thinking in appropriate work situations

This training will be remotely delivered via MS Teams.
