The course tutor will assess you throughout the course, through multiple choice papers and observations. Upon completion, First Aid Awards will provide a certificate.

Code: LSC673 ESSCP: Working with Children and Young People who Display Harmful Sexual Behaviours (Virtual) (EVENT FULL)

This course will enable participants to identify, understand and work with sexually harmful behaviours in children and young people. This course is aimed at all front line professionals, including managers; from East Sussex County Council Children’s Services Social Care, Early Help, Children’s Services Education, Adult Services, Youth Offending Team, East Sussex Schools, Police, Health, Probation and the Voluntary and Independent sectors. This FREE live, interactive training will be delivered via Microsoft Teams.

Code: ESC/20/730 Appraisal and Supervision (EVENT FULL)

This workshop looks at the skills needed by managers to get the most from these discussions, including how to tackle poor performance and how to further motivate high performers.

It will consist of 2 x half day, interactive, virtual classroom sessions, spaced 1 week apart. The course will use a case study to explore specific issues, particularly around dealing with staff who are struggling to perform well.

Each session will have trainer input, group work discussion and practice.

After day one, delegates will plan actions that they will undertake between day one and day two.

It is essential that you complete the "Maximising Performance" elearning module & pre-course work prior to attending this workshop.

Any specific questions regarding supervision and appraisal can be sent to the trainer up to five days before the course, to help contextualise the sessions. There will be a case study, the first part of which will need to be read before day one.

LAS Search and View is a half day of training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the Adults Liquid Logic platform. This course is designed to show you how to navigate Liquid Logic, find clients and view case data and includes viewing scanned images held within ECaseFile

This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses LAS whether to view client data or input data into the system

As a new staff member your manager must request that a Liquid Logic account is created for you before attending this course. When the account is created you will receive an e-mail invitation to book onto this course. Existing users are welcome to book if they wish to refresh their skills.

You must complete this training in order to be able to access the LIVE system. The trainer will activate your account on attendance.

The link is on the ESCC YouTube channel and is by invitation only, so please don’t forward to colleagues.
