This Course - Assisting the Fallen Person (Part 2) Practical use of Assistance Equipment is for the practical use of a Elk lifting cushion, Felgains lifting chair or a hoist. This course has a large practical element.

Important: This training is part of the Covid-19 Interim Training Programme and is suitable for new and existing staff.
This training is delivered using videos and useful resources in conjunction with a Microsoft Forms workbook you will need to complete. Please ignore the start and finish times of this training on the learning portal.
It is recommended that new staff attend face to face training when available.
You will be sent a First Aid manual and workbook, so it’s vital that you give us your correct email address if it differs from the one on your East Sussex Learning Portal user account.
Workbooks are not to be shared between colleagues; each person who wishes to complete this training MUST book their own place on it. Workbooks returned to the trainer by delegates who have not booked a place will NOT be marked.
After reading the First Aid manual, please complete the workbook by no later than 10am on the Thursday after you receive the manual.
Submissions received after this time will not be marked and your training record will not be updated to show completion of this course. Please only submit once as only the first submission will be looked at.
Ann will assess your submission and send summative feedback to you.
Your East Sussex Learning Portal user account will be updated to show completion of this training once your workbook has been marked.
