Code: ASC/20/635 Basic First Aid (specific with no practical element) – certificate valid for one year - Covid19 Interim Training Programme

Delegates on this training will be emailed a manual and a workbook by the trainer. Ideally each delegate should have their own personal/work email address on their East Sussex Learning Portal use account. Where this is not possible, please be advised that it is the responsibility of each training delegate’s line manager to forward these documents to them, so they have them in time for their training.

IMPORTANT: THIS TRAINING IS PART OF THE FAST-TRACK DISTANCE LEARNING DURING THE COVID-19 CRISIS AND IS SUITABLE FOR NEW AND EXISTNG STAFF.

IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT NEW STAFF ATTEND FACE TO FACE TRAINING WHEN AVAILABLE.

  • You will be sent a First Aid manual and workbook via email, so it’s vital that you give us your correct email address if it differs from the one on your East Sussex Learning Portal user account
  •  Workbooks are not to be shared between colleagues; each person who wishes to complete this training MUST book their own place on it. Workbooks returned to the trainer by delegates who have not booked a place will NOT be marked
  • After reading the First Aid manual, please complete the workbook and return it (via an email with answers typed or completed in PDF, saved and returned) for marking to ann.holland@eastsussex.gov.uk by no later than the Thursday after you receive the manual.
  • Please don’t hesitate to email Ann with any questions about Basic First Aid.
  • Ann will mark and return your workbook.
  • Your East Sussex Learning Portal user account will be updated to show completion of this training once your workbook has been marked.
  • Please look out for an email to complete session evaluation. We would appreciate your time in completing this so we can evaluate this temporary process. You will then be able to access your certificate online.

This is a distance learning course which does not involve attendance at a training venue or a virtual meeting. You will be sent a First Aid manual and workbook via email closer to the date of the course. Delegates should therefore ignore any map or venue information or map.
