Workbooks are not to be shared between colleagues; each person who wishes to complete this training MUST book their own place on it. Workbooks returned to the trainer by delegates who have not booked a place will NOT be marked.
After completing the workbook please return it (via an email with answers typed or completed in PDF, saved and returned) for marking to firstname.lastname@example.org by no later than the Friday after you receive the workbook.
Workbooks received after this time will not be marked and your training record will not be updated to show completion of this course.

These new format courses will support staff who work directly with families to be more confident and capable when holding difficult conversations. This will now be delivered as a live interactive virtual classroom via Zoom. Now split over two half day sessions instead of one full day. Important. Participants will be introduced to a new set of practice principles that have been designed by East Sussex practitioners and consider how to integrate holding difficult conversations with families with Solution Focus and Motivational Interviewing techniques.

This course is aimed at all care/support workers in a learning disability setting, particularly those supporting older people (50+) with a learning disability.
