Code: ASC/22/835 JCR Reablement Practical Scenarios (EVENT FULL)

This course will be delivered via In-Person Classroom training. You will be expected to attend a specific venue on the date(s) of the training. Please see the course full details and attached map for further information.

Interactive Face to Face workshop for JCR Support Workers new to role who have completed initial induction and started lone working in the community.

Session will include simulated scenarios to evaluate knowledge and skills learnt in previous workshops. Delegates will be supported through scenarios in a supportive and relaxed environment.

Delegates start times will be staggered and will be informed of timeslot once training has been confirmed.

Delegates will need to have attended JCR Reablement Healthcare Procedures and JCR Physio Training before attending this workshop.

Code: ASC/22/439 Moving and Handling Practical Session for Occupational Therapists. Part 2 face to face practical training

This course will be delivered via In-Person Classroom training. You will be expected to attend a specific venue on the date(s) of the training. Please see the course full details and attached map for further information.

This Moving and Handling training session, delivered face to face with appropriate Covid 19 PPE provision, is aimed at Adult Social Care staff who assess for and prescribe manual handling equipment.

Prescribers of moving and handling equipment must complete yearly training in the assessment for and use of moving and handling equipment.

It is a prerequisite that Occupational Therapists have attended the virtual theory training before attending Part 2 the practical session.

The PBS refresher training is open to professionals, families and carers who support adults with learning disabilities who also have challenging needs who have ALREADY completed the full 3 day course.

The refresher day includes updates on current legislation, any changes to guidance and good practice, and a multi choice questionnaire to test up to date theory, knowledge, practical demonstration and competence of physical interventions.

This venue has a current Covid19 risk assessment. Any delegates showing Covid19 symptoms must not attend the training venue.
