AMHP Refresher Day: Trauma Informed Practice
This is an opportunity to explore the concept of Trauma and how it may be applied in AMHP practice as part of Mental Health Act assessments. The day will introduce different types of trauma and their relationship to Attachment Theory and Adverse Childhood Experiences, as well as triggers and behavioural indicators of trauma. The afternoon sessions will focus on how this model is applied in practice and the direct practice skills needed to do so.

This course is suitable for those who do not need to attend an Ofqual accredited First Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at Work course.
Note. This course requires a demonstration of competency in administering CPR, which involves kneeling on the floor beside an anatomical dummy. If you are unable to work on the floor to perform CPR you will not be permitted to undertake this course.
LAS (Liquid Logic Adults) Search and View
LAS Search and View is a half day of training for East Sussex County Council users to familiarise themselves with the Adults Liquid Logic platform. This course is designed to show you how to navigate Liquid Logic, find clients and view case data and includes viewing scanned images held within ECaseFile
This course is for anyone joining an ESCC team that uses LAS whether to view client data or input data into the system
As a new staff member your manager must request that a Liquid Logic account is created for you before attending this course. When the account is created you will receive an e-mail invitation to book onto this course. Existing users are welcome to book if they wish to refresh their skills.
You must complete this training in order to be able to access the LIVE system. The trainer will activate your account on attendance.
A half day course designed to explore the Support Planning procedures in line with the Care Act legal requirements. Staff will have an opportunity to reflect on practice and use support planning tools.
